Lieutenant Sebastian Muñoz has served the City of Rosenberg since 1999. Lieutenant Sebastian Muñoz began by serving the Patrol Division in such capacities as an Officer, Field Training Officer, Patrol Sergeant, and Field Training Sergeant. Lieutenant Sebastian Muñoz transitioned to the Criminal Investigations Division in 2013, serving as a people crimes detective, property crimes detective and promoted to detective sergeant 2020.
Lieutenant Sebastian Muñoz currently is the Administrative Lieutenant, which consist of internal affairs, training, and is the public information officer. Lieutenant Sebastian Muñoz was a 2023 Officer of the Year Honoree from The State of Texas House of Representatives. Lieutenant Sebastian Muñoz currently has a Master Peace Officer Certificate with TCOLE.
