Suni Jugueta is the Captain for the Rosenberg Police Department.
Captain Jugueta began her law enforcement career in 2011 working as a jailer for the Comal County Sheriff’s Office. That same year, Captain Jugueta promoted to patrol deputy for CCSO, where she worked until April of 2013. Captain Jugueta relocated to the Houston area and has been serving Rosenberg since 2013.
Captain Jugueta has dedicated the majority of her law enforcement career to the Criminal Investigations Division, serving five years as a Detective before being promoted to Criminal Investigations Sergeant. She later held the role of Administrative Lieutenant, overseeing Internal Affairs and serving as the department’s Public Information Officer.
Captain Jugueta oversees the Patrol, Criminal Investigation and Operations Divisions. Captain Jugueta has a Master Peace Officer Certification with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. She holds an Associate Degree in Arts and Sciences from Houston Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish, and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston–Downtown.
