Director Vasquez has a total of 14 years of dispatching experience, including 2 years in fire and medical aid dispatching, before becoming TCOLE licensed at the Rosenberg Police Department. She has served as a training officer since 2014 and has overseen the Field Training Program since 2018, the same year she was promoted to Telecommunication Supervisor.
Director Vasquez is a TCOLE Certified Instructor, a licensed CPR Instructor, and holds an Associate Trainer License. She places strong emphasis on developing training within the Emergency Communications Division, working closely with TCIC/TLETS to ensure operators understand their roles and the requirements for entering and querying state and national databases.
Throughout her career at the Rosenberg Police Department, Director Vasquez has trained approximately 25 employees and also serves as the agency’s primary TAC. She holds a Master TCOLE Telecommunicator License.
In recognition of her dedication and leadership, Director Vasquez was named City of Rosenberg Employee of the Year in 2020 and Texas APCO Supervisor of the Year in 2022.
